My Story
My name is Eboni Allen. I am the founder of My Dear Doula, based in Durham, North Carolina. I hold a Bachelor's in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and am pursuing a Master’s in STEM Education at North Carolina State University.
My journey into birth work began with the birth of my first child in 2017. After experiencing unexpected challenges, I was inspired to ensure a better experience for myself and others. This led me to obtain my birth doula certification, allowing me to combine my deep-rooted love for science and learning with my passion for supporting families during one of the most significant moments of their lives.
I am married and a mother to two wonderful children. As a spiritual and dedicated individual, I strive to provide informed, compassionate care that respects the unique needs and preferences of each family I work with.
